Our Destination

San Jose De Colinas.  Not sure if you can really see it, but that little yellow thumb tack in the top right area of this image is where we'll be going.  Wikipedia doesn't have many details about it and neither do I.  I do know, however, that it's located in the department of Santa Barbara, about 36 miles Southeast of San Pedro Sula, which is the city and airport we'll fly in to.  It's also about 10 miles Northeast of the city of Santa Barbara, which can be found on Google Earth and the world wide web with more detailed information.

The days are passing quickly and I just know it'll feel like only a month before we leave.  Hopefully the Spanish I've been practicing at work is paying off.  The Spanish speakers must think I'm pathetic in my attempts to communicate with them!  It's pretty entertaining, though.

Thank you to every one supporting me through prayer and giving.  With your contributions I'm more than half way to my goal.  Since our team is a little short so far and our deadline has just passed, we're working on getting some fundraiser events together.  I'll be providing more info on that when it become available, but I'm pretty sure one will be a Tri-tip sale.

Our Team

The Well Community Church is sending a team of 13 to Honduras on a medical missions trip. We're teaming up with Medical Ministry International (MMI) to spend another 2 weeks near San Pedro Sula. Our trip is from July 12th through the 26th and each missionary is in the process of raising $2300 each.
